Essen Instruments is a privately held company located in Ann Arbor Michigan that have been developing instrumentation for cell-based assays since the early 1990’s (see Inventions), historically, they have licensed or sold our inventions to third parties for sales and distribution.  

Essen offers both Instrumentation and contract Discovery Services directly to the life science industry.  The combination of their instrumentation capability and drug discovery experience makes Essen a unique provider of life science research tools and services.

ChemApps

ChemApps develops software solutions for drug discovery data mining and management.  They provide desktop applications, custom software solutions and informatics consulting for the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industries.

SARvision

SARvision is an application to visualize, mine and organize chemical data. The program automatically identifies chemotypes in a chemical library and organizes data hierarchically. SARvision filters data by scaffold type or any associated data, such as HTS results, physicochemical data. It is a quick way to identify chemotypes responsible for a given activity.
